Plant-Based Cashew Cheeze

INSTRUCTIONS
1 cup raw cashew, unsalted
1 cup water
3 Tbs. sesame seeds or 2 Tbs. tahini
4½ Tbs. yeast flakes
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
2 Tbs. honey (optional)
1¼ tsp. sea salt
1½ tsp. onion powder
1 Tbs. olive oil (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine the cashews, seeds/tahini and water in a blender and process until very smooth.
2. Add the yeast flakes, lemon juice, honey, seasoning, and oil , then blend again until smooth. Note:
*Store in refrigerator 3-4 days or freeze until ready for use.
*Excellent on homemade pizzas.































Can't wait to try this! I made something similar to this the other day. I used sunflower seeds and it turned out pretty well... and I toasted the sesame seeds. The 'cheese' went really well with my homemade veggie burgers, chilli and even roasted plantain.
