The apple tree is a deciduous tree in the rose family best known for its sweet fruit. The apple is cultivated worldwide as a fruit tree. It is known as the king of fruits.

Properties

The Fruit - Apples are extremely rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.

The Bark - is a tonic and is used as a medicine for fevers. It can be consumed as a tea.

Hypertension

Apples provide cholesterol - lowering fibers, healthy sugars and phytonutrients that all work together to benefit your heart. Since they are low in calories, apples can also help you keep your weight down, reducing your risk of cardiovascular problems.

Safe for Diabetes

Apples do contain sugar, but much of the sugar found in apples is fructose. When fructose is consumed in a whole fruit, it has very little effect on blood sugar levels. Also, the fiber in apples slows down the digestion and absorption of sugar.

Healing from the Bark

Bark Tea- The tea is good for digestion, suppressed menstruation, nausea, vomiting, liver, spleen, kidneys, bowels, fever, toothache, etc.

To use the bark, simmer two teaspoons of bark per cup of water for twenty minutes. Strain and drink. Take one-quarter of a cup four times a day. The tea may be stored in a glass jar with a tight lid, in the refrigerator, for up to a week.

Diuretic

Due to its large amount of potassium salts, apples hae a diuretic effect, helping to cure kidney disorders. For those who have Kidney stones. Apple juice is recommended.

Apple juice for kidney stones

Drink 32 oz of apple juice for 3 days with water in between.

On the third day, mix ½ cup of olive oil and ½ cup of fresh lemon juice.

Go to sleep on your right side.

The kidney stones should pass with your stool in the morning.
