Genetically modified foods are foods that have been taken form their natural state, manufactured and reproduced in an unnatural state in an unnatural environment. The result is food that is unfit for human consumption. To the natural eye, GMO and organic foods look very similar.
GMO foods are “experimental combinations of genes from different species cannot occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding.
Virtually all commercial GMOs are engineered to withstand direct application of herbicide and/or to produce an insecticide. The industry has been telling us that GMO foods are superior in terms of increased yield, drought tolerance, and enhanced nutrition, but it has yet to prove it. In the meantime, more and more scientific evidence is emerging which shows that consumption of GMO`s is not safe and can lead to disease.” [1] Even animals avoid GMO foods.
Over 60 countries have banned GMO foods, this does not include the U.S. What this means is, if you are not buying and eating organic, you may very well be eating GMO, especially with it being sneaked into many processed foods under the disguise of ingredients such as amino acids, yeast product, citric acid and natural flavorings; to name a few.
There are common symptoms associated with GMO consumption:
Fatigue
Brain Fog
Digestive issues
Arthritis
Headaches
Increase of Food Sensitivities
The most common GMO containing foods are:
Soy
Cotton
Canola
Corn
Sugar beets
Papaya
Alfalfa
Zucchini
The remedy - avoid GMO foods by buying organic or grow your own foods.
